IoT devices are getting smaller and thinner, and so connectors also need to match the device evolution.
In terms of the battery usage, horizontal (right angle) connection can be an option to make the device “smaller and thinner” and Yokowo’s compression type battery connector can be one of your solutions.

Yokowo’s Two Piece Blade Connector has a unique structure, which is called “floating”, it can absorb shock, vibration, mating tolerance, and it also can avoid solder cracks.
To shorten the battery charging time, current rating on a connector are trending to higher current.
In some cases, multi contacts on a connector to achieve higher current is needed.
However, connector size gets bigger… Yokowo offers different internal structures to carry higher current with single contacts to save space.
